Schmaison was made with raw spelt from K2 Milling, pilsner malt from Barn Owl Malt, and hopped with Fuggles and Styrian Goldings. This saison was fermented hot and then bottle conditioned with Brett.
Expect a fruit-forward nose bursting with pear, strawberry, mint and light funk. Medium-bodied and highly carbonated with a balancing bitterness and no acidity. Flavours of honey and a hint of pepper in the finish. This beer is reminiscent of classic Belgian saisons and pairs perfectly with sunshine.
