We’ve been big fans of their beers for years, so it was great to have them out here to brew our version of a beer style that we both love.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eIt’s clear chestnut brown with a reddish hue and a fluffy light tan foam. This one is all about malt…smoky malt. You get a lot of smoke character in the aroma but the flavour is much more complex. It’s dry and prickly on the palate, with medium bitterness and layered malt flavours of smoked wood, hazelnut, toast, and chocolate. Medium carbonation and moderate alcohol keeps it balanced and easy drinking. A few sips in and you barely notice the smoke.
