This Saturday, HARU’s serving plant-based Japanese cuisine up in the garden! She’s bringing a vegan burger on her homemade “milky” bread topped with seasonal ingredients and comes with her summer-only hot sauce, a recipe she makes just this time of year. She’s also baking butter tarts with our beer :)
Originally from Japan, HARU is a freelance chef focusing on Japanese vegan cooking and baking in Toronto. She used to run the menu at TSUCHI Cafe and now spends her time doing pop-ups, collaborations, and consulting. She uses organic ingredients as much as possible and brings a calm, confident approach to everything she makes.
Come for the burger, grab a butter tart, and have a beer. Food starts at noon and goes until it’s gone.
